CA – Gun Shows – Del Mar Fairgrounds to suspend new gun shows up to a year
MY PLAINVIEW.COM September 12, 2018 – The board that controls the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego County has voted to not consider contracts with producers of gun shows for up to a year after Dec. 31 until it formulates a more thorough policy on the events. A fairgrounds statement says the new policy will take into consideration holding guns shows only for educational and safety training purposes, banning possession of guns and ammunition on state property, and security and safety plans for future shows.
