Nat’l – Campus Guns – Dept. of Ed. may use Dem bill to buy guns

ONE NEWS NOW.COM August 27, 2018 – Democrats are fuming after Education Secretary Betsy DeVos announced the federal agency is considering allowing states to use federal funds to purchase firearms for public schools. The money would come from a program pushed by Democrats, Every Student Succeeds Act, which passed in 2015 and does not expressly prohibit the use of grant funds to purchase firearms.
