COMMENTARY: Black on Black
Democrats are too stodgy to deal with real, non-political,
problems but these guys aren’t
Until the corona virus hit New York City early this year, the Big Apple was heralded by gun controllers as having the strictest gun control and least gun crime in the country. We suspect if that conversation got around to a real debate the numbers would be nothing more than tossed salad. Or toast.
Today’s reality is that Governor Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio are having difficulty boasting about the control of ‘gun violence’ within their serfdoms. This happened after NY’s Finest were forced to pull back from aggressive arrest techniques, some of which results in controversial deaths of black subjects.
Within the short passage of time, such ‘gun violence’ in New York is beginning to look more like ‘gun violence’ in Chicago or Baltimore or some other places in America. That, of course, confounds the happy campers of the groups that created the label, ‘gun violence’ in the first place.
So what to do now? Legislatively, gun control is gasping with its last breath. Moms that have been demanding an end to ‘gun violence’ have found it difficult to think positive these days. After all, their enthusiasm for crash-through-the-gates-of- legislative action by the Democrats who promised in the 2018 election that, if their voting compadres would just vote to let them take over the House from Republicans, the first item on the new lawmaking agenda would be to control ‘gun violence.’ But that didn’t happen so…
Here’s how:
The uptick in ‘gun violence’ can be set at the feet of riotous demonstrators in Seattle, Portland, St. Louis, Kenosha and an alphabet of other of America’s great cities because – dare I repeat the thinking of President Trump? – yeah, why not? – those cities are all run by Democrats who want less, not more police control. True or not, that’s nothing more than a political wishbone. Not gonna happen.
However, there is news on the wires these days: more black gun owners, recognizing the political disadvantages of Republican lawmakers (frankly, Republicans are not as good at being street fighters as Democrats) to mix it up for fear of breaking a gun law and then drowning in the bad press sure to follow, have a whole other ‘Army’ of black gun owners who have been forming militias of their own.
If you haven’t yet recognized them by sight, we’re pretty sure social media has told you about them. Best known by their own declaration that they are better known as the NFAC, or ‘Not F****** Around Coalition,’ an Atlanta-based militia made up primarily of former black (and some white) military veterans.
What better “managers” of dealing with ‘gun violence’ exists…anywhere. The liberals don’t have them and other black, brown, yellow and assorted rainbow skin colors are joining them to push Trump’s law and order demands to get rid of the guns that have been killing mostly black kids – babies, even – in struggling low income communities around the country. That said, we’d support such a group and, in the interest of racial subjugation, pull back the white cops and let them continue carrying out their duties in less rainbow-hued neighborhoods.
And since these guys are all openly armed anyway, letting them solve the ‘gun violence’ problem – or at least the bulk of the issue not involving suicides, random or mass shootings and similar threats – would suggest an imaginary picture of armed NFACs on one side of the street and criminal gangs on the other side and let’s see who wins getting rid of ‘gun violence’ in the way law and order intended.
