The National Rifle Association and its allies in the firearms industry want Arizona lawmakers to force banks to do business with them.

After seeing an uptick in violence in the Opelousas community, one man decided to make it his mission to bring the community together and put the guns down. According to Opelousas police records, there was an increase in gun violence in 2020 as compared to 2019 which inspired Guns Down Power Up founder Eric Williams to host a seven-day prayer service.

While some members of the Philadelphia community have remained optimistic that Mayor Jim Kenney will fulfill his recent commitment to address the city's gun violence crisis, one activist is back on a hunger strike, claiming Kenney has not lived up to his promises.

They say that “time is money,” well in the big game hunting world, “time is meat.” Steven Rinella of the renowned outdoor company MeatEater advises hunters to gut big game immediately.

DAILYLEADEREXTRA.COM – “You’ve heard about entrapment,” Randy Hoffman said, beginning one of those stories that seems to be part of the tradition, recalling incidents that occurred in previous years when pheasant hunting with friends or family members. Hoffman’s story happened to involve a conservation officer who is also his nephew, Cody Symens. They were walking through a slough when a bird was flushed. “He yells out, `Rooster.’ Then he says, `No, hen’,” Hoffman said, finishing the story to the laughter of those present. [full article]
