SD – RETAILERS – Suspects stole 40 guns from Rapid City gun shop Wednesday morning

Police are searching for suspects who stole nearly 40 guns from a Rapid City gun shop. Officers responded to a report of a burglary around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Stop Gun and Coin in downtown Rapid City. Video surveillance showed one person breaking the glass door of the shop’s main entrance with a baseball bat, then shattering glass display cases while another suspect grabbed handguns from the cases and placed them into a duffel bag. One of the suspects cut their hand or arm on the glass. A third suspect remained outside and fled with the other two suspects. Both suspects who entered the store are described as men with a slim build between the ages of 15 to their early 20s. Both were wearing light-colored hoodies, masks and pants with distinctive holes in them. Police do not have an exact number of firearms stolen at this point. [view source]
