"WE ARE COMMITTED TO WORKING WITH STATE AND LOCAL LEADERS TO HELP SECURE OUR SCHOOLS AND TACKLE THE DIFFICULT ISSUE OF MENTAL HEALTH," HE SAID IN A STATEMENT.THE LIBERAL MEDIA FLOCKED TO A GUN CONTROL RALLY THAT WAS HELD IN FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA SATURDAY IN THE WAKE OF THE PARKLAND SCHOOL SHOOTING. THEY WERE EAGER TO SPREAD THE GROUP’S MESSAGE AND DURING THEIR SUNDAY MORNING SHOWS, ABC’S GOOD MORNING AMERICA AND NBC’S SUNDAY TODAY HYPED THE NEW WAVE OF “STUDENT ACTIVISM” AND CLAIMED THEY HAD THE “MOMENTUM HERE.”SHERIFF GRADY JUDD IN POLK COUNTY, FLA. WENT ON THE NEWS SATURDAY TO TALK ABOUT THE SO-CALLED “SENTINEL PROGRAM” AS A POSSIBLE LEGISLATIVE RESPONSE TO MASS SHOOTINGS. JUDD CALLED THE PROGRAM A “GAME-CHANGER” BY ARMING SELECT EDUCATORS WHOSE BACKGROUNDS HAVE BEEN VETTED THOROUGHLY, WHO HAVE BEEN PSYCHOLOGICALLY EVALUATED AND TRAINED IN WEAPONS MORE INTENSELY THAN LAW ENFORCEMENT BY STATE STANDARD.THERE’S ALWAYS A LOT OF EMOTION AFTER A HORRIFIC SCHOOL SHOOTING, AND THAT’S COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE. WASHINGTON FREE BEACON.COM April 19, 2017 – The National Rifle Association (NRA) published a new online ad Tuesday which advocates for national gun-carry reciprocity. Now that Neil Gorsuch has been appointed to the Supreme Court, a top priority for the NRA during President Trump’s first 100 days, the ad may signal a shift towards promoting national reciprocity as the group’s next big push.
