WY – Self-Protection – New Wyoming Law Allows Schools to Make Campus Gun Policies

CAMPUS SAFETY MAGAZINE March 17, 2017 – Wyoming Governor Matt Mead on March 15 signed a bill that will allow school districts to craft concealed gun policies. Original House Bill 194, School Safety and Security will permit school districts to allow guns on campus if they meet several safety and training requirements. If a district wishes to allow guns on campus, they will need to create an application and vetting process, craft safeguarding and gun safety training requirements and develop a process for revoking concealed carry rights.  [full article]
